WHAT WE BELIEVE
At Northridge, our vision is simple: we are a community that glorifies God through ministry, mission, and service. Community is the heartbeat of Northridge, whether we’re worshipping together, praying for each other, or working to share God’s love.
As part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), we wholeheartedly believe that God loves us not in spite of who we are, but because of who we are. And, we get to live our lives in a way that honors God’s love for us and our neighbors.
Like Jesus did long before us, we seek to be engaged in the world, find thoughtful solutions to today’s challenges, feed the hungry, and teach love. More than anything, we consider it our greatest responsibility to share God’s love by serving others, seeking peace and justice, and responding with the utmost compassion and care for the world around us.
With open arms and open hearts, we welcome everyone.
We’ll leave you with the words we say at the end of every worship service, which encapsulate how we strive to live:
“Go out into God’s world in peace; have courage; hold on to what is good; return to no one evil for evil; strengthen the faint-hearted; support the weak; help the suffering; honor all persons; love and serve the Lord, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.”
