WHAT WE BELIEVE
At Northridge, we believe in inspiring transformative moments of faith through relevant worship, compassionate community, and extravagant generosity. We are
a community of open minded individuals who are friendly, generous, committed, and intentional. As part of the Presbyterian Church (USA), we strive to live in a way that honors God’s love for us and our neighbors. We consider it our greatest responsibility to share God’s love by serving others, seeking peace and justice, and responding with the utmost compassion and care for the world around us. We are open-minded, comfortable with questions and doubts, and are committed to loving others in faith. We invite you to come authentically as you are; there is no need to check your mess at the door.
In following Jesus, we seek to welcome all with open arms and hearts.
Below is the charge we repeat at the end of every service, and we seek to embody the Charge in all that we do in the pursuit of God’s Kingdom.
“Go out into God’s world in peace; have courage; hold on to what is good; return to no one evil for evil; strengthen the faint-hearted; support the weak; help the suffering; honor all persons; love and serve the Lord, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit.”
