ADVENT 2022

What does it mean to be “on the way?” After all, a life of discipleship is a life of being “on the way.” This Advent, we’re considering the characters we meet on the way to the manger, and what their journeys teach us about the life of faith.

In addition to joining us for 9:00 outdoor worship or 11:00 sanctuary worship throughout the month of December, we hope you will join us for any of the following events:

Two Pencils — Through December 18

Take part in this longtime Northridge tradition by making a monetary donation as a Christmas gift to friends or family! These gifts support our mission partners, so please indicate which partner you’d like to benefit. Make a payment by cash or check in the narthex on Sundays, or online by clicking here.

Interactive Family Christmas Eve — December 24 at 10:00 a.m.

Join us at 10:00 a.m. on the lower parking lot for this fun, interactive, family service. Each kid is given an accessory for a costume and a single line to repeat as their part in the story. Children will do a brief “rehearsal” of their part and songs while grown-ups settle in with tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. The children will then lead us in the interactive singing and story. Photo booth, petting zoo, and mission project stations to follow.

Traditional Candlelight Christmas Eve — December 24 at 5:30 p.m.

Join us in the sanctuary at 5:30 p.m. for this traditional service, complete with candlelight worship. Rev. Dr. George Mason, formerly of Wilshire Baptist Church (where he served as senior pastor for more than 30 years before retiring in May) will lead us in worship.

Christmas Day — December 25 at 11:00 a.m.

Christmas Day worship will be VIRTUAL ONLY. You can stream our services here.

New Year’s Day — January 1 at 11:00 a.m.
