Wendy Fenn, PT Interim for Pastoral Care

Wendy, an ordained Presbyterian minister, retired from First Presbyterian of Dallas in 2017, where she served for five years as Associate Pastor of Congregational Life, responsible for programs in pastoral care, membership, and fellowship.

Her prior call was to Faith Presbyterian Hospice as Chaplain and Director of Spiritual Care where she worked to engage, empower, and equip faith communities to minister to their people on issues such as aging, illness, end of life and grief.

Wendy has been married to Doug for 43 years and their family of three boys (Steve, John,and Patrick) has grown, with Steve’s wife Julia (also a Presbyterian minister), 2 grandsons, Henry and Stuart, and a third boy due very soon.

She went to seminary late in life, after careers as an IBM systems engineer, a parenting facilitator and a mom. Her degrees include an MDiv from Perkins School of Theology, plus a year of residency in clinical pastoral education at Methodist Hospital.

She and Doug love to travel, and her passion is gardening.
