Pack The Pews

We may not be able to gather together in worship right now, but we can still Pack The Pews for our neighbors.

Each Sunday afternoon during our isolation, Northridge invites members and friends to bring essential items to share with our neighbors in need – and to drop them off at Northridge, where we’ve arranged for collection that respects social distancing rules.

Our Pack The Pews Mission Partner recipient for the month of July is the White Rock Center of Hope.

We will be collecting the following items:

  • Canned meats or fish
  • Peanut butter
  • Jelly
  • Canned vegetables
  • Canned fruits
  • Noodles
  • Pasta sauce
  • Canned tomato products
  • Boxed mac & cheese mixes
  • Jello mixes
  • Hamburger Helper
  • Catsup
  • Mustard
  • Cooking spices

  • Gently used clothing for children, women, and men (all sizes)
  • Socks, in all sizes
  • Athletic and/or dress shoes in all sizes
  • School uniforms in all sizes
  • New underwear in all sizes
  • Children’s jackets in all sizes

You may also donate directly to the Pack The Pews Mission efforts by visiting the Stewardship tab of this website.

Please bring the items to the Northridge side portico for curbside drop off between 3:00PM and 5:00PM Sunday afternoons in July.

Stay tuned to this space – and the emailed Northridge Word – for news on each month’s collection.
