Ongoing Projects

Annual Northridge Serves

Each fall since 2022, Northridge Serves brings our congregation together for a day of worship, fellowship, and hands-on service with mission partners across the city. It’s our chance to make a disproportionate impact for good in our community. The day begins with a combined worship service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary, followed by lunch together in Quillin Hall. Afterward, we head out to a variety of service projects at the church and throughout the city. Opportunities are available for children and youth who want to take part, and childcare is provided at the church for those too young to serve.

Each month, Northridge collects essential items for our mission partners and other organizations serving our community. These collections are a simple, meaningful way to meet real needs close to home. Some of our past collections have included underwear for White Rock Center of Hope, suitcases and duffel bags for kids in foster care, water bottles for the Stewpot, and soup cans for the Souper Bowl of Caring. Every item given goes directly to the people our partners serve.

Twice a year, Northridge volunteers partner with White Rock Center of Hope to help provide food for families in our community. It’s a hands-on, high-energy morning and a great way to serve alongside others. Volunteers pack boxes with canned goods and fresh vegetables, then load them into cars as families drive through the White Rock Center of Hope parking lot.
