At Northridge Child Development Center (NCDC), our primary goal is to foster the development and bolster the self-esteem, creativity, and imagination of children through our comprehensive preschool program. We are dedicated to nurturing physical, social, and emotional growth by creating a supportive environment where children can thrive. Your family will not be anonymous at NCDC. Our small program allows each child and family to be deeply known and loved.
Our caring, nurturing, and well-qualified teachers encourage learning through a variety of hands-on experiences. In an environment based on play, students will engage in circle time, learning centers, outdoor play, and sensory exploration. Students will work on pre-literacy, math, and science skills through a weekly theme. Students will also have the chance to participate in specials such as Spanish, yoga, music, movement, and chapel.
NCDC serves two to five year old children. Two year-olds attend three days a week, Monday through Wednesday, from 9:30-2:00. Three to five year-olds attend four days a week, Monday through Thursday, also from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. The two-year old class has a 5:1 child to teacher ratio, while the 3-5 year old classes have a 10:1 child to teacher ratio.
